Sunrise Way is supporting stronger, healthier communities through rebuilding individual lives affected by addiction.
To establish a homely environment of learning for the individual, to nourish them to find the inner strength for a balanced lifestyle.
Located in Toowoomba, we are a community based, non-denominational, independent, not for profit drug and alcohol rehabilitation service.
The goal of the Sunrise Way residential programme is to enable clients to understand their addiction, manage their mental health, develop skills and strategies to maintain sobriety and rebuild their lives.
The establishment of Sunrise Way Rehab was driven by the commitment and passion of the extended Toowoomba Community in response to the growing need for local, accessible, quality rehabilitation services.
Prompted by the closure of the Toowoomba Base Hospital’s withdrawal and rehabilitation unit almost 15 years ago, it took over 12 years of community donations and volunteering to renovate the facilitates at Tourist Road and secure local philanthropic support as an initial funding source for the fledgling organization.
